The Community Outreach Division
The Office of Community Outreach is responsible for promoting the Department of
Housing and Community Development (“DHCD”) housing programs and initiatives, including
the Department's foreclosure prevention initiatives
for low and moderate-income Maryland residents.
Community Outreach efforts include speaking engagements, trainings, presentations,
exhibitor opportunities, and distribution of the department's marketing collateral.
The unit works with both internal and external partners to advance homeownership
opportunities within Maryland and sustain homeownership by broadening the reach
and increasing awareness of the DHCD’s portfolio of products and services, to enhance
the images of both the unit and the department through educational efforts, community
outreach and awareness building.
